SolidStateDisks (SSD) have a limited number of write cycles, therefor you should try to minimize the writing

There is a nice tool named SSD Tweaker

  • Disable Hibernation: Run cmd as admin and execute "powercfg -h off"
  • Move Swap/paging file to other hard disk
  • Move Download folder to other hard disk
  • Move Browser Cache folders to other hard disk
  • Move Temp folders to other hard disk
    • User Vars: Temp -> E:\tmp-win\temp
    • System Vars: Temp -> E:\tmp-win\temp
