The printable version is no longer supported and may have rendering errors. Please update your browser bookmarks and please use the default browser print function instead.

Linux

# LaTeX via TexLive
sudo apt-get install texlive-full
# Editor kile
sudo apt-get install kile

Windows

MikTex choose 32 or 64 bit version according to your Windows Version
Start -> Programs -> MikTex -> Maintenance (Admin) -> Update

TexMaker Settings

Menu -> Quick Build / Schnelles Übersetzten -> PDFLatex
Options -> Configure -> Editor -> Spell Check Language selection

For each Document choose your main file (e.g. TorbensLatexVorlage.tex) as the Masterfile via

Options -> Current file as MasterFile

If the documents wants to load a package that is not installed on your system, MikTex will download and install it automatically.

F11 = run BibTex (for updating literature)
